Set a daily reminder to take a break and stretch

When I'm at the desk for a long stretch, the afternoon is when I stop moving altogether. A calendar event works for this, but it clutters the calendar with something that isn't a meeting, and I end up dismissing it on reflex. This routine does one thing at one time each day: it puts a short line of text on the screen telling you to get up.

“Every day at 3 pm notify me "Take a breath and stretch"”

Rulomi's on-device parser reads this sentence as written, so it works with the AI planner turned off. When you enable it, the routine asks for notification access so the reminder can appear. Precise timing is a separate, optional permission, and without it Android may deliver the reminder a few minutes late, which for a stretch break doesn't matter much. Each routine holds a single time, so if you want a reminder in the morning and another in the afternoon, make two routines. Writing "every weekday" instead of "every day" skips Saturday and Sunday, and "say" in place of "notify me" reads the line out with the phone's text-to-speech voice, which is harder to ignore than a notification.

The recipe and its variations are on Rulomi's recipe page.
