Change the volume when your phone connects to your car

My phone's media volume is usually set for headphones, which means the first song through the car speakers is either a whisper or far too loud, and I end up reaching for the volume while pulling out of a parking spot. This routine fixes the level the moment the car's Bluetooth connects and silences notifications for the drive, then puts both back the way they were when you switch the car off.

“When my car connects set media volume to 70% and turn on do not disturb and put it back when it ends”

Rulomi's on-device parser reads this sentence as written, so the AI planner can stay off. On the review screen you pick the car from your paired devices, and the routine asks for Bluetooth access so it can see the connection come and go. It also asks for Do Not Disturb access, because Android gates Do Not Disturb behind that permission. If you only want the volume, drop everything after "70%", and the routine then needs nothing beyond Bluetooth. Earbuds that connect over LE Audio alone aren't detected yet, so this is a better fit for cars and older headphones than for the newest buds.

The recipe and its variations are on Rulomi's recipe page.
